Mauna Kea Edition: Mauna Kea, a dormant volcano, is a sacred place where the piko (umbilical cords) of our ali‘i (chiefs) are buried. She's a place of origin and deep spiritual significance, central to ongoing struggles against development like the Thirty Meter Telescope.

Tūtū Pele Edition: Kīlauea is our active volcano on the island of Hawai'i, also known as our Tūtū Pele, our Akua (deity) and creator of these volcanic landscapes. In Hawaiian tradition, she is present in the flowing lava and the powerful natural forces that shape the land through volcanic activity.

They are our kūpuna (ancestors). These sickers are a call to protect our ʻāina (land), our ancestors, and our future.
